Identified - Thank you to everyone who supported Carina by Rackspace. Your feedback, ideas and suggestions shaped the Carina experience and our own learning process. We are grateful for your input. At this time, we will be ending the Carina beta and shifting our focus to delivering a fully-managed Kubernetes offering.

Effective immediately, we are closing new sign-ups and ending cluster support. Existing users will be able to access Carina clusters until April 18th, at which time we will be shutting down Carina completely and removing all associated data. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and thank you again for your support of Carina by Rackspace.

- On April 18th all Carina clusters and associated data will be deleted.
- Any data that you wish to retain will need to be manually migrated off of Carina.
- Unfortunately we can not extend the date past April 18th.

If you have any questions or feedback please feel free to reach out to us at carina-support@rackspace.com

Identified - The Carina team is happy to announce that we will be supporting Kubernetes and Docker Swarm clusters in the new release targeted for January. In addition to the inclusion of Kubernetes clusters, we are moving the beta version to a new infrastructure to better support your growth with Carina.

Because we're focusing our time and resources on delivering the new Carina experience to you as soon as possible, we won’t be adding more capacity to our legacy environment. As a result, we are not accepting new user sign-ups and existing users will no longer be able to create new clusters. Existing clusters will operate as expected, but users will not be able to grow them. We will not diagnose or fix clusters in the error state and apologize for any inconvenience that may cause.

We are currently performing security reviews of the new platform, to keep it as secure as possible. Issues found during that process could delay the release past January. We will update you in the near future on our progress.

The Carina team
